MEET OUR HEAD CHEF
Adam found his way to Monroe in 2016 from Athens, GA, where he was the sous chef at Harry Bissett’s and The Place. Prior to Athens, Adam oversaw a restaurant on Saint Simon’s Island, as well as Savannah, GA. Once in Monroe, he successfully helped transform a local restaurant and made a name for himself through his cuisine. Currently, with the help of his in-laws David & Rita Dickinson, he has set out to pursue his own dream with South on Broad which is slated to open at 137 S. Broad St. in historic Downtown Monroe this fall. South on Broad will bring together over two decades of Adam’s restaurant experience and features a from-scratch kitchen along with a craft cocktail driven bar. During his time in Monroe, Adam has fallen in love with the community and is excited to share his culinary vision with the town he now calls home with his wife Mariah & their two daughters.
